Busy Bee who needs a sewing bee!

I have been busy with everything but sewing so nothing newly completed to show for my efforts.
I have been spending some down time reading lots of blogs (I guess that's 'up' time as I've seen some wonderful ones) and caught up with Mr CP and his son Jack over the weekend.
This is a quilt I made for Henry...my dads dog :) I made it to go with the quilt I made for my Dad's 60th birthday. At that time they lived in Kinka Beach near Yeppoon in Qld. There is a walk you can do up a small mountain (big hill) and when you get to the top you look down and see turtles feeding near the rocks and that inspired it. The dog got a quilt as he is my dads baby (I was replaced!) and I knew that they'd (my dad and step mum) would appreciate it.

It was the first quilt I had professionally quilted (done by Jenny Carmichael of Bayside Quilting baysidequilting@yahoo.com.au). She did a brilliant job and it was how she and I became friends.
Hopefully some stitching done before work tmrw,
Abbe :)
